Originally from Montreal Lorne Nehring has worked successfully as a freelance drummer and teacher. At present, the group “Nehring/Koller and Braid” with George Koller and David Braid constitutes his primary playing and recording focus. The trio has produced two CDs, the second released on Montreal’s Effendi Records. A former student of Jim Blackley and Keith Copeland, Lorne has done all manner of studio work, playing on countless CDs and recording music for film, TV, radio and jingles.
