“The instrumentation of this recording, as well as some of the compositions (particularly tracks 6-10) are my homage to the music created by Lennie Tristano and his ‘school’ (most notably Lee Konitz and Warne Marsh). ‘Orion’ is my compositional tribute to the great Wayne Shorter.” – BD
